Gold database Licensing issue after installation

Hello, I have reinstalled my PC (same hardware, but fresh new windows 10). I reinstalled Harmony Assistant, PDF to Music Pro, Omer, and Gold database. Via Harmony Assistant, I went to "Manage my licenses" and entered the licenses for all products I have, all seem correct. However, when starting PDF to Music Pro, although I see the "Gold" logo displayed briefly at startup, when I go to "Manage licenses" it says that only PDF to Music Pro is registered, but not Gold Database and it provides a link to buy. it. Harmony Assistant, running simultaneously, says that my Gold database is correctly registered ! Any idea how to solve this? Another very annoying issue is that when I start any program (HA, PdfPro, Omer), they stuck at startup with several alert boxes saying : "Waiting for printer connection..." Please wait for printer connection or cancel connection." with the "Cancel" button I have to hit "Cancel" several times to get the program running... Any idea for this too ? Many thanks, Bruno

Hi Bruno, PdfToMusicPro includes licenses for VS and maybe MyriadHQ. This made a confusion in "Manage my license" showing different informations in PTM than in HA. The most important is to verify is if Gold is present and ticked in Configuration > Sound base. If so, then I think it works in PTM.

When I go to "About Pdf To Music Pro", the displayed dialog says "Sound base: gold.sdb", however the license manger says it's not installed... very strange. And this only happens on PTM, not on HA.

Sorry for the delay. I use Windows 10 pro latest version, reinstalled freshly on my PC : 10.00.19041.4842 according to HA About box. The versions are also the latest: - Harmony Assistant: 9.98d 64bit - Pdf to Music Pro: 2.0.0d build 29A56 64bit - Omer: v2.4.1 1- PROGRAMS FREEZE AT STARTUP BECAUSE OF PRINTER QUEUE When I start either of those programs, I have exactly the same dialog box displaying : Waiting for printer connection... [Cancel] The only choice to get the program to continue is clicking on the Cancel button, but I have to do it very often before it fully starts : HA: from 9 to 21 times... PTM: 3 times Omer: 2 times I do have 2 printers in the Windows configuration page: - Brother DCP-L2550DN series Printer - Microsoft Print to PDF (Default printer) The "Allow Windows to manage my default printer" is checked. Solution / Workaround : I just noticed a way to get rid of this annoyance: 1. Uncheck this "Allow Windows to manage my default printer" parameter. 2. Start HarmonyAssistant, PdfMusicPro, Omer. They start without complaining this time. 3. Check the parameter again (if you want) 4. Now, the issue seems gone when starting any of the programs. Could you please check if you can reproduce the issue? It may be useful to report this to Didier and Olivier. 2 - GOLD v2 BASE NOT SEEN AS REGISTERED ON PDF TO MUSIC PRO I uninstalled and reinstalled both Gold v2, HA and PTMP, in different order, but the issue is the same : - On Pdf To Music Pro, the "Manage my licences" dialog tells me "Gold Base is not registered on this computer. Go to the Store". - On Harmony Assistant, the same dialog tells me that "Gold Base is registered on this computer with license 2005.xxxx" Any idea? Bruno

Hi! About printer, please write an email to info@myriad-online.com, or use the send email feature from "?" menu > Internet > Send us an email. H tink it includes system informations in the mail so it may help them to understand what happen.
