PDFtoMusic 2.0.0 RC1 / PDFtoMusic Pro 2.0.0 RC1 are available.
 
You can already test them.
To report specific recognition issues with this version, or operational issues on macOS: didier@myriad-online.com

HI, the new software version is not working well for PDFs exported from Musescore.  
 
All of the Lyrics are recognized as Direction text.

Unless some people answer with hints during the day, you should report this, with an example pdf, to info@myriad-online.com.  
 
However, I thought that MuseScore was able to export in XML format.

Please open a new one about MuseScore PDF, with a sample PDF. And try the MusicXML export.
