Running "PDFtoMusic Pro 1.7.4" on xubuntu 18.04-LTS. If I in filemanager do a right mouseclick on a PDF File and select "Open with"/"PDFtoMusic Pro", PDFtoMusic does not open it's GUI, but processes the file as in batch mode. Is there any command line switch to force P2MP to open a file in GUI instead of processing it?

The forum is a tool to let users dialog about the product and eventual issues, not a means to submit problems or inquiries to the developers. So, it can happen that no user finds himself competent to answer directly, or to investigate. Everybody has his own availability. But it's a good thing to ring the bell a second time, some more users may pay attention. In PDFtoMusic Pro, there is a menu called "Setup" and an entry called 'Preferences", and inside an entry called "Export". This panel allows you to specify which processes you want to run automatically.

Thanks for you reply. The checkbox "Export all opened files automatically" is NOT set. I believe P2MP thinks it is invoked by batch process, but it isn't.

One more observation. On windows there are two executables: "P2MP.exe" and "PDFtoMusic Pro.exe" the first one seems to be compiled as commandline program (formally known as DOS-EXE), the second one as windows application. If I call "P2MP.exe", then batch processing is used, regardless of call with or without file argument. If I call "PDFtoMusic Pro.exe", then GUI is used, regardless of call with or without file argument. On Linux there is no such difference between executables. There is a "PDFtoMusic Pro" executable and "p2mp" is simply a symbolic link to the first one. Regardless, which one I use. If I call it without argument, the gui is used If I call it with argument, then batchmode is used. But I expect to have the same behaviour as in window p2mp : batchmode PDFtoMusic Pro : GUI A hint to the Guillion's: this could be archived by inspecting argv[0] of the main function, which is the name, by which the program is called.
