Exported myr file not quite same as HA on Windows

Using PDFtoMusic 1.0 on Windows XP-sp2, also with HA 9.2.2:
 
Small PDF file, from another music program, is opened in PDFtoMusic without error or warning. The exported *.myr file, solo voice, plays correctly in HA.
 
However, the *.myr file has some cosmetic problems: (1) The first measure is crowded (the notes overlap), along the top of the window, the measure bars are not shown, and I cannot make them appear. (3) The singer icon, on the VS stage, is in the wrong colors (blue on yellow insead of shades of gray) UPDATE: Colors fixed using HA9.3beta.
 
However, if I select all, copy, then paste the score generated by PDFtoMusic onto an empty staff in a new (blank) *.myr file created with HA, then all is well. Appearance and playback are as expected. I have to convert the words from text to lyrics, but I believe that is normal.
