Here's V. 1.1 of the script. The texts should be visible. I added a button to choose the font, size and face ("A") and a knob to define the Vertical offset of the texts, so that they don't overlap the note stems. I also removed the "clear texts" button which was only useful for tests.

@bubu42 Many thanks for the update to the script which has fixed the font size problem. However, adding solfa above the staff (textes) still does not work for me. I've made a screen capture of me running first the textes option and then the paroles option. Textes does not work for me. What am I doing wrong? I have linked to the screen capture here. I hope you can see it. loom.com/share/df4aab9d219c482e90c0a1b30b4dca4a

I've watched the video. Obviously there is an issue. The thing is the script works fine when I'm editing it, but when I run it directly from the script menu, the texts won't be displayed. I'll have to investigate a bit further.

Aaaaahhhh ! I finally got it ! As usual a beginner's blunder (I misplaced some constants call, which explains why it would run in edit mode and not as a standalone script). Here is the updated version. I added some features : choice of color and justification of note names in lyrics mode, horizontal adjustment and larger vertical span for texts (can now be placed above or below the staff.

Great ! Happy Easter, too. Now, I'll have to turn to Sylvain's suggestions in answer #23...
