[solved] Save and share VS voice (was: Re: scripts needed)

Has someone written a script to set voice parameters, so that an existing song can be sung by a different set of virtual singers? If not how could it be done?

Hi,
Your request is not clear.

You want to copy parameters of a voice to another?
You want to use a different voice on a second staff?
You want to alternate between two voices on the same staff?

If you edit the voice by clicking the singer on the VS palette, you can save your voice and recall it later, in another staff, another document.
Isn't sufficient?

Hi Sylvain,

That would be sufficient if:
1. I could actually see the options to save and recall a voice, but I can't. I attch a screenshot showing the edit singer and edit voice dialog boxes and there is no "save" button.

2. I could save the voice to a file that I could send to a collegue.

3. There was the option to load a voice from a file.

If these are not present the alternative would be for me to create a myscript file which could set the voice parameters. Would this work?

When you are ready editing the voice, press "Add to List" (bottom left), and it will prompt you for a name of the .prv file to be created.

You should leave blank the white rectangle where you have written "Do da da". The text written there could be appended to the name, but I haven't found any consistency in it.

Click "Add to list", you can recall after.

To share the voice : you'll find it in Myriad Documents / Settings / Voices directory.

Enjoy

OK. I change the thread title and move the topic to the appropriate section of the forum.
