Hi Tony,
I'm at last confessing that while I know both what a tie is, and how to create one (by using Tool 16 in the Action Tools palette), I'm unsure how to create a slur.
What I've been doing is selecting two notes of the same pitch, then pressing Command/L on my keyboard to link the selected notes. Is this correct?
I've looked at Display setup:Slur with its automatic adjustment: minimal and maximal bends sliders; but what does the automatic adjustment: moderator coefficient mean, and do?

MA doesn't allow that, even though it shows the options for slurs up and slurs down.
Instead I click on the first of the two linked notes, which opens a Note Options window, where I'm able to invert the tie, which is no longer named a "slur."
(Which explains my confusion about what exactly is a slur.)

Do you mean de-slurring such notes?

Yes, it still occurs; not exactly as you described, but the results were the same, as seen in my initial post's 2nd and 3rd screen shots.

I think I know what you mean. It's all available under Display setup: Slur. (minimal & maximal bends, etc...] |

J'ai beaucoup discuté avec Olivier d'une une fenêtre de choix d'options lors de l'import XML, un peu à la manière de la quantization à l'import Midi, qui apparaît sur option des préférences générales.
Pas évident, mais j'en rêve, parce que des options dans les préférences générales, c'est normalement pas fait pour être changées avant chaque import.
Autre piste pas encore creusée, un script qui afficherait un panneau latéral, permettant des corrections après chargement. |

Thanks Sylvain. I've changed my profile.
Ref. lyrics editing, I have temporarily turned off easy lyrics editing, but I will experiment with it when under less pressure to finish my project.
I understand the new default actions of [ and ], it is quite useful. Indicating the presence of them with a blob is useful too, however, I don't understand why subsequent text is mangled. Perhaps I need to complete the addition of normal text first, then amend after ? I'll play with it.

Danièl, as-tu pu tester RawPacket ?
Moi, pas encore.
Par contre j'ai fait une version filtrée de Midi.GetEvent pour capter les entrées CC / pitch bend sans trop en capter, pour contrôler des éléments graphiques d'un Dialog.
Dans la prochaine version du menu couteau suisse, les molettes pitch bend et modulation (ou d'autres) d'un clavier maître auront un effet équivalent à des touches du clavier d'ordi, et la pédale (sustain pedal) l'équivalent de "Espace" ou "Entrée". |

Le fonctionnement est donc normal.
Oui, j'avoue que changer de clef sur toutes les portées n'a pas vraiment de sens, mais puisque le mécanisme existe pour les changement d'armure, why not? Les cas d'utilisation seraient très rare. |
