From the manual “When you see an accidental (sharp, flat...) before a note, that note and all the notes in the same bar and on the same line (or space) are affected.”
This is an option request for the explicit only use of accidentals. A note would only be sharp or flat if it had a sharp or flat before it. Subsequent naturals and non displayed flats and sharps would be eliminated. I find a need for this in theory references. There is certainly no need for performance/play or for a reading score but it would help with visibility of theoretical work.
