Harmony Assistant 9.9.0 RC1 / Melody Assistant 7.9.0 RC1
« on: May 23rd, 2019, 5:53pm »

The first RC (Release Candidate) versions for Melody Assistant 7.9.0 Harmony Assistant 9.9.0, PDFtoMusic, Melody Player can be downloaded:

Click here for Windows and Linux versions

or

Click there for MacOS versions

Please keep in mind a RC version is not made for working intensively on important projects, but to track the remaining issues before the public release.

An RC version is however stable enough to work on small projects.

WARNING: The RC version implements the new file format, not readable with older versions (including the cureent public version), but that will be supported by the final version once released.
You can however set up the program to save in a format compatible with the current public version.

Please send us back any remark and problem report by e-mail.
Do not forget to quote your computer model and system version, number of bits of the installed version and RC version number.

Thank you!

Hmmm. Win 10 is not letting this install by any means. And Avast is muttering about a very unusual file and sending off for inspection.
Curious.  Anyone else?

Not for me (alse W10 Pro, but without Avast).

Did you encounter the same problem with any of the three recent beta versions? Or is it the first pre-99 you try with?

To Musikus:
I had this screen for some of the recent betas, but I think not for all; I didn't care too much since that should indicate the version is not yet Registered with Windows - or the registration not yet distributed to one's system.

You can select "Weitere Informazionen" (FR: Informations Complémentaires, EN probably "More information" or alike).

On that subsequent panel, you can select something like "Install Anyway"

To Muddle: Is that also how your problem shows up? Avast may say it differently than Windows Defender, but I guess it goes around the same thing.

Hi  Andre_B,    I tried again next day. This time the option of 'run anyway' worked.

Last time  there seemed some confusion  from windows defender ...  maybe I  did things in the wrong order.  Windows seemed to have  remembered the defender  'stop.'

Avast replied eventually  that the file was clean of course.

Tengo dos PC bajo Win10 64 bits. En un ordenador con Avast: Sin problema. OK.
En el segundo, sin Avast, el Defender de Win me avisaba de malas cosas. Instalé de todas formas. Sin problemas.

Hello,

I see that the external modules dialog is limited to four entries, and they show up as "no recursive." Is there a way to make those paths recursive?

Thanks.
